These schools require online tutors to support their student base through the Cambridge International Curricula (in some cases, the IB). Course content is provided and focuses primarily on GCSE, IGCSE and AS/A-Levels, so creation of content is not part of the role. The hours are more certain but the role is still flexible. You can choose to take on as many tutor groups as you are comfortable with. Each tutor group equates to roughly 5 hours contact time each week across on average, 12 week terms, meaning a guaranteed 60 hours of tuition, at £20 an hour. There are 3 * 12 week terms across an Academic year. Where this position is slightly less flexible is that we require a commitment to one full Academic year. (180 hours over the course of a year).
